This topic describes feature enhancements, resolved issues, and important information for Logi Info v24, released on December 20th, 2024.

You no longer need a new license when upgrading an existing installation of one of our products from one major version to another major version, for example v23.3 to v24. However, if you are upgrading from v12 to v24, you will need a v14 license key and file for the new product/application. If you have an active maintenance contract with Logi, we've already created licenses for your license point of contact, which you can find on DevNet by selecting Support > License Manager. Contact Customer Service if you want to upgrade and need a new license.

Logi Info v24.4 Service Pack 2 Resolved Issues

Title	Description
Bookmark collection issue while upgrading to the latest version	Setting the new constant  rdAllowDuplicateBookmarkID to 'True' will display all bookmarks, including the ones with duplicate bookmark IDs.
Closure Issue with Blank SQL Table	You can now close the pop-up panel, when a blank SQL Query Custom Table is added.
Analysis Grid UI removes extra spaces	The analysis grid UI no longer removes multiple spaces between words, resulting in the IN List pop-up filter working correctly.
Excel export issue	Now, the data table captions and any text elements directly beneath these captions will also be exported to Excel.
Date filter issue	Now, when the analysis grid is reopened and the date filter is clicked, the correct dates are shown.
Analysis grid filter issue	In the analysis grid filter, the value list is displayed even if the column names contain spaces.
File Path Visibility Issue	When the debugger style is set to NoDetail, the file path is no longer displayed.

Logi Info v24.4 Service Pack 1 Resolved Issues

Title	Description
Sorting issue	When the sort option is applied to a shared bookmark column, the data is arranged as expected.
Pop up issue	When a custom table is successfully added, the dialog box no longer appears as expected.
Navigation issue	Clicking 'Go Back' on the Metadata Definition Editor page now correctly takes you to the Data Source Connections page.
Table sorting issue	A table now sorts correctly when it has more than one conditionalized sorting condition.
Upgrade issue	The Table header in sub reports does not wrap when it is set to NO WRAP in the Excel column format.
An issue with the PUT request	REST datalayers successfully support PUT requests.

Logi Info v24.4 Feature Enhancements

Title	Description
CData Driver Removal	MySQL connections will now default to using the native driver, and the customer will need to bring and install their own in order for their MySQL connections in the application to work. For more information, see Native MYSQL Driver Implementation.
Accessibility Enhancements for Calendar Elements and Sort Icons	The following accessibility enhancements have been introduced: Screen readers read the Sort icon as “ascending” or “descending”. Calendar: Screen readers can read the date listed in the calendar popup panel. Calendar: Screen readers can read the link as customized text.
Securing LogiXML Scheduler Service Against .NET Remote Deserialization	The _Settings.lgx file for the LogiXML Scheduler Service now includes a TypeFilterLevel attribute within the WebRequest element. You can set this attribute to Low if needed, the default value is Full. This ensures that only the specified types are allowed for deserialization in the LogiXML Scheduler Service.
Filter Aggregates by Another Aggregate	Added the ability to filter aggregates using another aggregate for improved data handling.
Handling Dates with Offsets	The dates can have offsets in the database.
Bookmark Sorting State	Added functionality to continually update bookmarks when a DataTable or CrosstabTable with RememberSort=True is sorted, or columns are dragged or resized in the linked report.
Allow Late Tasks to Run in Scheduler	Added an option to run late tasks if the timeout hasn't occurred. Enable with rdAllowLateTasksWithinTimeout="True". If not set, behavior remains unchanged.
Per-Point Color Support for Whisker Series	Enabled per-point color support for Whisker series using stemColor and whiskerColor values, similar to other series types with @Chart/@Data tokens.

Logi Info v24.4 Resolved Issues

Title	Description
Data Filter issue	In the Analysis Grid, issue with the data filters not working as expected with a database user whose default language is set to Norwegian is now resolved.
Tokens support issue	The margin attribute in the Printable Paging element now supports tokens, as the attributes are set dynamically, without any error message.
Highcharts Quicktip CSS Issue	The Inline CSS issue in Highcharts Quicktip is now resolved when upgrading to Info version 24.4 .
No Caption Setting with Tokens	Setting Caption on an Interactive Paging element is now supported with use of variables/tokens.
Main Report Bar Graph Rendering	The bar color in the main report is now retained when the user drills down on another report and returns to main report.
Empty Pages in Analysis Menu	In the data table of the Analysis menu, issue with some pages contained no data is now resolved.
Potential Read Issue	The engine now prevents entity resource resolution on the rdRequestXML request parameter as you pass information from one report or process to another.
Rapid Excel Error	You no longer receive an error When Rapid Excel is run on a report with the label’s caption as a formula.
Fiscal Year Value Mismatch	The tooltip that displays Fiscal year in New Analysis bar charts did not match with the label value is now resolved.
Oracle FTDM Error	When an image was added to Report Author using Oracle FTDM, an Oracle error occurred. The fix ensures that the error does not occur. You no longer receive Invalid identifier error when adding images in Author Report using the File to Database Mapping (FTDM).
My Visualizations Error	The relevance when changed in the chart under visualization folder now reflects to top percentage as expected.
Friendly Names Deletion	Friendly names added to the columns in a new table is now retained when SQL query changes.
Ship Country Sort Issue	You can now sort the column with a crosstab label in descending order when table name starts with a number.
JIT Debugger Exception	Setting the Format as the Percent of Total no longer causes an exception to occur in the report.
Validation.Length does not work	The element Validation.Length works as expected when used in an input element located in a table with interactive paging. The validation works in the first table page and subsequent pages.
Canvas Piechart Update	You can now adjust the spacing of legends on piecharts. Adjust using the new attributes, LegendLabelStyle and Legend.
Calendar Accessibility	You can now access the full calendar control using only the keyboard while navigating through a report.
Scheduler Service	The Settings.lgx file for the LogiXML Scheduler Service now includes a TypeFilterLevel attribute within the WebRequest element. You can set this attribute to Low if needed, the default value is Full. This ensures that only the specified types are allowed for deserialization in the LogiXML Scheduler Service.
Managed Dashboards	The Add Panels option is now removed,When you use Add Panels in a Report to add it to a dashboard.
Analyze Data – Customized Sliding Date	When you select to filter data using a Sliding Date, you can now access the Customize button to customize the date slider options.
Analysis Grid Export Dates	The Order Date by Year and Order Date by Day formats now display correctly when exporting a report via rapid Excel.
AG/SSRM - Rapid Excel Export	You no longer receive an XSL error when exporting a report which also contains a crosstab table via rapid Excel.
Report Process Wait Panels	The issue that prevented the local style you define for a Wait Panel in Reports and in Process from overriding the default styles as defined in the css is now resolved.
WCAG – HTML Tags Closure	Corrected an issue that prevented the inclusion of closing tags when HTML output is selected.
AG/SSRM - Filter	The UI no longer displays incorrect filter values when the date column's format is predefined.
WCAG – Image Descriptions	The UI now returns the correct image descriptors for several elements of the table filter widget to screen readers.
WCAG – Calendar Descriptions	Calendar elements in filter results now provide more information on dates in focus to screen readers.
Issue in Label Attribute	You no longer receive an XSL error when exporting a report via rapid Excel.
Accessibility Enhancement – Sorting Icon	Resolved the accessibility issue where the sorting icon next to a column header was read by screen readers as “triangle”. Currently, the screen reader reads the sorting icon as “ascending” or “descending” which indicates that the entries in the column have been sorted in a particular order.
Datetime Formula Showing Incorrect Values after Export to Excel	The Datetime formula display format of yyyy/mm/dd hh:mm:ss tt shows correct values after you export the report to Excel.
Overlapping Values on the Chart Exported to Excel or PDF when PNG Images are Used in the Chart	PNG images in the chart exported to Excel or PDF had hard-coded maximum width, which impacted the content of the chart in such a way that values on the label axis overlapped is now resolved with rdExcelChartWidth constant.
Date Data Type Not Working in v24.1	The Compare Filter correctly retrieves all the data rows from the dataset when the Data Type attribute is set to DateTime.
The Format of Group Column Not Working When Exporting the Report to Rapid Excel	The Order Date by Year and Order Date by Day formats now display correctly when exporting a report via rapid Excel.
Report Center Menu Not Showing Bookmark Descriptions	The bookmark descriptions configured in the ReportCenter Menu element now appear correctly within the report.
Removing Custom JS Injection into URL on Linux Vulnerability	The engine no longer processes custom JavaScript added via the URL in applications deployed to Linux servers, similar to those deployed to Windows.
Removing RCE Vulnerability Affecting the rdCsvFieldDelimiter Parameter	The engine now limits formula resolution when using the rdCsvFieldDelimiter parameter.
Incorrect Minimum and Maximum Aggregate Values in the Date Type Column	Minimum and Maximum aggregation on data type column retrieves data as expected.
Removing RCE Vulnerability affecting the rdSecurity parameter	You can now manage token resolution inside formulas when they are used as values for session variables and procedures.
Removing Threat of SQL Injection in Analysis Grid Formula with PostgreSQL	The restricted formula list now works correctly when a Postgres function or formula is used in the analysis grid.
Removing LFI Vulnerability	When a report loads data from other applications and then generates a PDF, the risk of PDF injection and local file inclusion is eliminated.
Issues with Sending an E-mail using a Scheduling Service	When the SMTP server is connected, the Scheduler successfully sends emails without any errors.
Issue with Round function	In PostgreSQL, the round function now works as expected when auto-casting is disabled.
Issue with order of grouped columns	When using the group by column function in the Analysis Grid, the column now retains its set position as expected.
Issue with grouping using secondary join relation details	When grouping date columns in the Analysis Grid report, ActiveSQL now uses the correct column name in the JOIN clause and returns accurate data.
Crosstab issue	Bookmark works as expected after adding a crosstab with the specific date column to Analysis Grid.
Issues with Grouping and Sorting	Grouping and sorting is working as expected when applying multiple sort and group filters.
Order Date hidden on new group addition	When I add a new group based on the order date, it will hide the underlying date column until the user explicitly unhides the underlying date column.
Filter saving issue during visualization edits	Filters can be saved when editing visualization after adding file to database mapping.
Excel templates missing data	Excel templates using sub-pattern block and sub-data layer elements now return data correctly.
Aggregate filter issue with passN	The aggregate filter now functions as expected when the constant value rdAggregateFilterMethod is set to ‘PassN’.
Tokenization Error in Data Column Summary ID	When applying Repeat tokens, the Data Column Summary element is now fully tokenized.
CSV export Issue	When exporting CSV files, differences between outputs from Rapid CSV Export in reports and process tasks have been resolved. Both methods now generate identical results.
Repeat Token Error with Static String	Repeat tokens now function correctly with static string values preceding them.
Aggregate filter issue	You no longer get an error when using two aggregate filters in Open AG when upgrading to 24.4 engine.
Action.Refresh issue after Ajax sorting	The issue in dashboards with Ajax sorting, Action.Refresh in a data table that stopped working after column sorting is now resolved.
Grouping results in Object reference error	The issue with grouping on a column with a space in its name is now resolved.
Closing of pop-up panel issue	You can now close the pop-up panel after adding a blank SQL Query Custom Table.
Fixed Error with Exclude Detail Rows in Formulas	The error message when adding a group on a formula with the Exclude Detail Rows option enabled is now resolved.
Errors with rdDataCache on Shared Drives	Running a report that contains an embedded sub-report in Logi Info no longer throws a warning if you set rdDataCache to a shared drive using a universal naming convention (UNC) path.
Vulnerability in rdDataCache and rdShowModes Parameters	Fixed the edge case scenario where the rdDataCache and rdShowModes parameters could be used to inject scripts. Using the mentioned parameters no longer makes the site vulnerable to XSS.
Error Adding Custom Table	The issue where adding a custom table threw the error: "ele.getAttribute is not a function." Is now resolved.
Incorrect Subtotals After Adding Filter in Analysis Grid	The issue when adding a product type filter in the analysis grid, subtotals incorrectly increase is now resolved.
XSS Vulnerability in rdChart2.aspx	The rdChartDef parameter has been updated to no longer allow a script to run when the DebuggerStyle value is set to NoDetail.
Incorrect X-Axis Labels in Scatter Plot Chart	When the data table name started with a number, the X-axis labels of the scatter plot chart were incorrect is now resolved.
Sorting Issue	The issue when using @Request tokens inside a sort filter, the sort worked on initial load but failed to update when changing the sorting column is now resolved.
Dropdown Lists Broken in Chrome	When using Chrome version 131.0.6778.70 (64-bit), input select lists did not display options. This issue has been resolved.
Radio Button Error in Input Grid on Chrome	Fixed an error with input radio buttons inside an input grid in the new Chrome update.
