This topic describes feature enhancements, resolved issues, and important information for Logi Info v24, released on March 29th, 2024.

You no longer need a new license when upgrading an existing installation of one of our products from one major version to another major version, for example v23.3 to v24. However, if you are upgrading from v12 to v24, you will need a v14 license key and file for the new product/application. If you have an active maintenance contract with Logi, we've already created licenses for your license point of contact, which you can find on DevNet by selecting Support > License Manager. Contact Customer Service if you want to upgrade and need a new license.

Logi Info v24.1 Service Pack 4 Resolved Issues

Title	Description
Issue with the Analysis Grid Formula with the Postgres function	The restricted formula list now works correctly when a Postgres function or formula is used in the Analysis Grid.
Issue with the Aggregate filter when used in a formula	The aggregate filter now functions as expected when the constant value rdAggregateFilterMethod is set to ‘PassN’.
Resolved error with Aggregate filters after engine upgrade	You no longer receive an error when using two aggregate filters in Open AG when upgrading to the 24.4 engine.
Resolved Action.Refresh issue after Ajax sorting	The issue in dashboards with Ajax sorting, Action.Refresh in a data table that stopped working after column sorting is now resolved.
Warning on temporary file deletion failure	Running a report that contains an embedded sub-report in Logi Info no longer throws a warning if you set rdDataCache to a shared drive using a universal naming convention (UNC) path.
Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability when using rdDataCache and rdShowModes parameters	Fixed the edge case scenario where the rdDataCache and rdShowModes parameters could be used to inject scripts. Using the mentioned parameters no longer makes the site vulnerable to XSS.
Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability when using the rdChartDef parameter	The rdChartDef parameter has been updated to no longer allow a script to run when the DebuggerStyle value is set to NoDetail.

Logi Info v24.1 Service Pack 3 Resolved Issues

Title	Description
Blank pages added at the end of the table	Paging now accommodates the ‘Sensitive’ filter case sensitivity, and the application no longer adds blank pages to the table.
The crosstab label column could not be sorted in a descending order when the table name started with a number	You can now sort the column with a crosstab label in descending order when table name starts with a number.
Incorrect Minimum and Maximum aggregate value in the report	Minimum and Maximum aggregation on data type column retrieves data as expected.
Group by Column	When using the group by column function in the Analysis Grid, the column now retains its set position as expected.
Saving Filters when Editing Visualizations	Filters can be saved when editing visualization after adding file to database mapping.
Exporting to Excel Templates	Excel templates using sub-pattern block and sub-data layer elements now return data correctly.
Tokenizing Data Column Summary ID	When applying Repeat tokens, the Data Column Summary element is now fully tokenized.
CSV Export Issue	When exporting CSV files, differences between outputs from Rapid CSV Export in reports and process tasks have been resolved. Both methods now generate identical results.
Handling of Repeat Tokens with Static Strings	Repeat tokens now function correctly with static string values preceding them.

Logi Info v24.1 Service Pack 2 Resolved Issues

Title	Description
Error after adding image to Author Report using FTDM	You no longer receive Invalid identifier error when adding images in Author Report using the File to Database Mapping (FTDM).
Exception occurred after configuring Format as Percent of Total	Setting the Format as the Percent of Total no longer causes an exception to occur in the report.
Vulnerability issue when Logi Report loads data from another application	When a report loads data from other applications and then generates a PDF, the risk of PDF injection and local file inclusion is eliminated.
Scheduler	When the SMTP server is connected, the Scheduler successfully sends emails without any errors.
ROUND Function	In PostgreSQL, the round function now works as expected when auto-casting is disabled.
Table Grouping	When grouping date columns in the Analysis Grid report, ActiveSQL now uses the correct column name in the JOIN clause and returns accurate data.
Crosstab Issue	Bookmark works as expected after adding a crosstab with the specific date column to Analysis Grid.
Grouping and Sorting	Grouping and sorting is working as expected when applying multiple sort and group filters.

Logi Info v24.1 Service Pack 1 Resolved Issues

Title	Description
Request Parameter	The engine now prevents entity resource resolution on the rdRequestXML request parameter as you pass information from one report or process to another.
Request Parameter	The engine now limits formula resolution when using the rdCsvFieldDelimiter parameter.
Calendar Control	You can now access the full calendar control using only the keyboard while navigating through a report.
Scheduler	The _Settings.lgx file for the LogiXML Scheduler Service now includes a TypeFilterLevel attribute within the WebRequest element. You can set this attribute to Low if needed, the default value is Full. This ensures that only the specified types are allowed for deserialization in the LogiXML Scheduler Service.
AG/SSRM	The Order Date by Year and Order Date by Day formats now display correctly when exporting a report via rapid Excel.
AG/SSRM	If you input an incorrect filter value for a date column, the UI will display that value even if a custom format is defined for that column.
Crosstab Table	You no longer receive an XSL error when exporting a report which also contains a crosstab table via rapid Excel.
Label	When exporting a report containing a Label element to Excel, the output no longer displays the Caption attribute text in the first cell.
Compare Filter	The Compare Filter correctly retrieves all the data rows from the dataset when the Data Type attribute is set to DateTime.
ReportCenter Menu	The bookmark descriptions configured in the ReportCenter Menu element now appear correctly within the report.
XSS Protection	The engine no longer processes custom JavaScript added via the URL in applications deployed to Linux servers, similar to those deployed to Windows.
Set Session Variables	You can now manage token resolution inside formulas when they are used as values for session variables and procedures.

Logi Info v24 Feature Enhancements

Title	Description
SSRM/AG - Null Values	The new constant, rdSortNulls, allows you to control where null values display when sorting data by ascending (ASC) and descending (DESC) order. By default, this constant is empty. To utilize this feature, enter Max, Min, First, or Last as the value for the constant. The following criteria applies: Max: When sorting by ASC, null values display at the bottom of the list. When sorting by DESC, null values display at the top of the list. Min: When sorting by ASC, null values display at the top of the list. When sorting by DESC, null values display at the bottom of the list. First: When sorting by either ASC or DESC, null values display at the top of the list. Last: When sorting by either ASC or DESC, null values display at the bottom of the list.
SSRM/AG - Group Sequence	This enhancement provides an accessible, convenient way to change the order of Groups in a Data Table. Prior to this enhancement, you could not adjust the sequence of Groups. Instead, you had to delete the Groups altogether and manually add them in the desired order. Now, you can utilize the 'up' and 'down' icons that display in the Group tab of the Data Table.
SSRM - Dashboard Visual Optimization	This release, we optimized the performance of the Dashboard. Prior to this enhancement, the Dashboard element processed the metadata for all visuals in the Dashboard, including those in inactive tabs. Now, only the visuals in the current tab are processed, enabling quicker load times and faster results.
AG - Order Date Offset	In SQL Server, there's a special data type called datetimeoffset that stores both the date and time, along with the timezone offset. In earlier versions, this type of column was not rendering correctly. Now, the original datetime, along with its offset can be displayed correctly. Additionally, we now support Maximum and Minimum aggregations on this type of column, with comparisons based on UTC date conversion using the given timezone offset. In comparison filters, if the user input includes a timezone offset, the comparison will be based on that input timezone offset.
AG - Custom Color	This release offers the ability to conditionally define a custom color for your Analysis Grid chart while building it, rather than the previous function where the system randomly assigned a color. For example, if you want to build a "Test Run Status by Release" Bar Chart that determines the number of test runs in a release and breaks them down by the test run status, you could assign the color Red for tests that failed, yellow for tests that are incomplete, and green for tests that passed.
AG - Group Columns	A new application-level constant, rdAGMergeGroupHeaderRows, enables grouped values to display in a single Group Header Row. Prior to this enhancement, as well as when this constant is set to False, when applying multiple groupings to an Analysis Grid, each group was represented on a separate row of the Data Table, creating one Group Header Row per grouped column. When this constant is set to True, multiple group columns display on a single line in the AG Data Table, as well as Data Tables directly or indirectly generated by the AG Data Table.
Avoid Page Break	The MoreInfoRow element now includes an "Avoid Page Break" attribute that allows you to control whether or not your PDF exports display page breaks before and/or in the middle of MoreInfoRows. By default, this attribute is set to False. To avoid page breaks in before and/or in the middle of MoreInfoRows in your exports, set this attribute to True.
Microsoft Playwright	The PhantomJS headless rendering engine has been replaced with Microsoft Playwright.

Logi Info v24 Resolved Issues

Title	Description
SSRM - Sharing List	The comma misinterpretation while showing the Username and Displayname in a Sharing List was resolved.
SSRM - Performance Improvement	Load time was improved for Analytics Reports with large data sets.
SSRM - Action.Run Bookmark	Adding a Link Parameter that includes a special character to the Action.Run Bookmark in goHome now works as expected.
.NET - goGallery	The goGallery file now displays the visualization thumbnail images in .NET environments, as expected.
MoreInfoRows	Tables that include a MoreInfoRow now display the data table column's content within the label, as expected.
Condition Attribute	You can now apply a Condition attribute to a Sort filter, as expected.
AG - Custom Aggregate	You no longer receive a timeout error when applying a custom aggregate to an Analysis Grid that contains filters.
Bookmarks	Running non-SSRM bookmarks saved in the database no longer returns an object reference error.
SubReport	Refreshing a SubReport in Embedded Mode no longer causes an error.
Add Panel	Upon upgrading from Info v23.1 to v23.3, or from v14.2 to v23.1, you no longer receive a "Thread was being aborted" error when adding a panel.
Gauge Charts	You can now load and refresh old gauge charts without issue.
Data Table Hide/Show	You can now "hide" a parent division element on a Data Table that has the Interactive Paging element's caption type set to 'Scrollbar'.
Dashboard Panel	The correct creation date and time now displays when adding panels to your Dashboard, as expected.
