This topic describes feature enhancements, resolved issues, and important information for Logi Info v23.3, released on September 29th, 2023.

You no longer need a new license when upgrading an existing installation of one of our products from one major version to another major version, for example v14 to v23.1. However, if you are upgrading from v12 to v23.1, you will need a v14 license key and file for the new product/application. If you have an active maintenance contract with Logi, we've already created licenses for your license point of contact, which you can find on DevNet by selecting Support > License Manager. Contact Customer Service if you want to upgrade and need a new license.

Logi Info v23.3 Service Pack 5 Resolved Issues

Title	Description
Sorting Issue with number-named tables	The table keeps the sort order after reopening if the table name starts with numbers as expected.
Unhandled Microsoft .NET framework exception	When you add the Percent of Total format after enabling the Recalculate based on filter, the software no longer displays an unhandled Microsoft .NET framework exception.
Grouping and Sorting Issue	Grouping and sorting now function as expected when used together in reports.
Filtering Aggregated Columns Issue	In the Analysis Grid, the Aggregate filter now accurately narrows down the results of an aggregated column by applying the specified formula, and using two aggregate filters now successfully retrieves data without errors when upgrading.
Ajax sorting breaks Action.Refresh in the dashboard data table	The issue where Ajax sorting in a dashboard data table caused by Action.Refresh element is now resolved.
Fixed error reloading analysis with database fields containing spaces	When a user sets up a new analysis in Logi SSRM using a column with a space and adds a sort, the analysis does not error out upon returning to it after navigating away.

Logi Info v23.3 Service Pack 4 Resolved Issues

Title	Description
Scheduler Service	The Settings.lgx file for the LogiXML Scheduler Service now includes a TypeFilterLevel attribute within the WebRequest element. You can set this attribute to Low if needed, the default value is Full. This ensures that only the specified types are allowed for deserialization in the LogiXML Scheduler Service.
Issue in Label Attribute	Reports with the caption property set, no longer export captions to an Excel file.
ReportCenter Menu	The bookmark descriptions configured in the ReportCenter menu element now appears correctly within the report.
CVE vulnerability	The engine no longer processes custom JavaScript added via the URL in applications deployed to Linux servers, similar to those deployed to Windows.
RCE vulnerability	The engine now limits formula resolution when using the rdCsvFieldDelimiter parameter.
Issue with token resolution in formulas	You can now manage token resolution inside formulas when they are used as values for session variables and procedures.
Data loading issue	When a report loads data from other applications and then generates a PDF, the risk of PDF injection and local file inclusion is eliminated.
Round function issue in PostgreSQL	In PostgreSQL, the round function now works as expected when auto-casting is disabled.
Issue with grouping by date field	ActiveSQL can now return correct data when grouped by date field with secondary JoinRelationDetails.
Broken bookmark issue	Grouping works as expected after adding a crosstab with the date column to Analysis Grid.

AG/SSRM - Filter	The UI no longer displays incorrect filter values when the date column's format is predefined.
AG/SSRM - Order Date by Year	The correct Order Date by Year format now displays when exporting a report via rapid Excel.
AG/SSRM - Rapid Excel Export	You no longer receive an XSL error when exporting a report which also contains a crosstab table via rapid Excel.
AG/SSRM - Rapid Excel Export	AG/SSRM -The Group Column now displays the correct format when exporting via rapid Excel.
Calendar Control	The calendar control is now accessible via the keyboard, as expected.
Request Parameter	The engine now prevents entity resource resolution on the rdRequestXML request parameter.

Logi Info v23.3 Service Pack 2 Resolved Issues

Index Parameter	You no longer receive an 'Index out of range' error after drilling any customerId cell in Grp_KeepGrpRows table.
Dashboard Panel	The correct creation date and time now displays when adding panels to your Dashboard, as expected.
Data Table Hide/Show	You can now "hide" a parent division element on a Data Table that has the Interactive Paging element's caption type set to 'Scrollbar'.
Gauge Chart	Refreshing a Gauge chart no longer returns an error.
Condition Attribute	You can now apply a Condition attribute to a Sort filter, as expected.
SSRM/AG - Group Filter	You no longer receive an error when adding a Group filter to an Order Date grouped by Year.
SSRM/AG - Aggregate Filter	Data now displays, as expected, when adding an Aggregate filter to an Analysis Grid Table.
SSRM/AG - Edit Visualization	Editing an Analysis Grid in your Visual Gallery that has a group applied to it no longer returns an error.
SSRM/AG - Remove Group	.Adding a Group, Count, and Aggregate filter to an Analysis Grid on an SSRM Table no longer returns an error when you select Show/Hide and remove the Group.
SSRM/AG - Add Group	Editing an Analysis Grid in your Visual Gallery that has a group and aggregate filter applied to it no longer returns an error.
SSRM/AG - Aggregate Filter	Reopening an Analysis Grid that has a Group, Count, and Aggregate filter applied to it no longer returns a retrieving data error.

Logi Info v23.3 Service Pack 1 Resolved Issues

Title	Description
Embedded Mode	Refreshing a SubReport in Embedded Mode no longer returns an Abort Thread error message.
Add Panel	Upon upgrading from Info v23.1 to v23.3, or from v14.2 to v23.1, you no longer receive a "Thread was being aborted" error when adding a panel.
Excel Export	Adding a panel to a managed Dashboard and exporting to Excel now works as expected.
AG/SSRM - Sort	Adding multiple tables from the Visual Gallery to a Dashboard and then sorting on the individual tables now retains the sort order after making edits to one of the tables, as expected.
AG/SSRM - Filter	Adding an aggregation and a filter to an Analysis Grid that uses MySQL now displays the correct values, as expected.
AG/SSRM - Data Table	Removing a filter from a Data Table with multiple formulas no longer returns an error.
SSRM - Bookmarks	Running non-SSRM bookmarks saved in the database no longer returns and object reference error.
SSRM - Group Drillthrough	Applying Drill To > Quarter and then using a Group Drillthrough on the OrderDate in a Heatmap chart now displays the OrderDate in the correct format.
Performance Improvement	Load time was improved for Analytics Reports.

Logi Info v23.3 Feature Enhancements

Title	Description
Export Grouped Columns - CSV	Two new application-level constants, rdRepeatTableGroupInCSV and `rdExportGroupInCSV`, allow you to control the way grouped columns display in your CSV export. To repeat the Group Value to Detail Row, set `rdRepeatTableGroupInCSV`to "True". To display the Group Header Row, Group Summary Row, Header Row, and Summary in your CSV export, set `rdExportGroupInCSV` to "True". When both constants are set to "True", the outer group value repeats to the inner group row. By default, both of these constants are "False".
Excel Sheet Break	By default, Excel exports that utilize Excel Sheet break include a blank cell A1. To remove the blank cell from the export, set the optional attribute Excel Delete Blank Sheet to "True".
Data Table Summary Row	This release, the HeaderRow and SummaryRow elements include a new attribute, Hide If Single Data Row. Set this attribute to "True" to hide the summary row when there is only one row in the Data Table. To utilize this feature in your Analysis Grid, set the AnalysisGrid element's attribute Hide Summary Row If Single Data Row to "True". For SSRM, add the attribute HideSummaryRowIfSingleDataRow to the AnalysisGrid element [@ID='ag'] in `InfoGo.goAnalysisGrid.lgx`. Once an analysis is created, this attribute will take effect in all items such as Visualization, Author Report, and Dashboard that is built according to this analysis. Modifying the attribute HideSummaryRowIfSingleDataRow does not affect existing analysis.
Undo/Redo Sort	Logi Info now offers the ability to undo or redo the Sorting action in your dashboards. This enhancement applies to Analysis Grids, Dashboards, and Report Author. You cannot perform this action when running a shared report with "Read Only" access. To utilize this enhancement, set the new application-level constant `rdColumnActionUndoRedoEnabled` to "True".
Pareto Charts	Developers can now leverage out-of-the-box Pareto Chart visuals to improve productivity, minimize customizations, reduce development effort, and import the extensibility and maintainability of custom analytics applications. A Pareto Chart is a chart type based on the Pareto principle, commonly used to maximize business efficiency. The Pareto Chart is used to graphically summarize and display the relative importance of the differences between groups of data. To support this feature, the ChartCanvas element now includes a new chart type, ChartCanvas.ParetoChart. Pareto Charts can be used with standard data layers and support native export types.
Excel Export Password Support	You now have the option to encrypt your exported Excel reports to ensure that sensitive information remains secure. This feature enhances the security and privacy of Excel exports and prevents unauthorized access to their data. To enable this feature for Analysis Grid, Dashboard, Report Author, and Scheduling, set the application-level constant `rdExportExcelProtection` to "True". By default, this constant is set to "False". For Scheduling, if the allowed formats include only one Excel choice, Format drop-down list will display, but is disabled. Additionally, the element Action.NativeExcel includes two new attributes, EnableInput and ExcelPassword. The available values for EnableInput are True/False, with a default value of "False". If EnableInput is set to "True", users will be asked to input the password before the export, ever time. To enable a static, preset password, that users are not allowed to input or change at runtime, set the ExcelPassword attribute to "true". Unlike EnableInput, ExcelPassword accepts various values, such as tokens, constants, and so on. If the EnableInput attribute is set to "True" it takes precedence over the ExcelPassword attribute.
Divide by Zero Handling	A new application-level constant, `rdErrorMessageInExport`, identifies any issues with the Data Table in your Excel output file so that you can troubleshoot and resolve them quickly. By default, this constant is set to "False". To include an error message in your export, set this constant to "True". This feature applies to the following export types: HtmlExport Excel NativeExcel NativeWord Word PDF HtmlEmail GoogleSpreadsheet
Display Metadata ID or Name	You now have the option to display metadata IDs or names when using global filters in your Dashboards. Prior to this enhancement, you could apply global filters to metadata, but there wasn't an option to select the metadata in the Dashboard. To display "Table Name (Metadata Name)", set the application-level constant `rdDisplayMetadataNameInAutoSelectList` to "True". By default, this constant is set to "False". This enhancement applies to the "Filter Column" drop-down list in both the Global Filter and Dashboard panel.
PDF 508 Compliance	Target.PDF, child element of Action.Export PDF, now includes five additional attributes: Document Author, Document Keywords, Document Language, Document Subject, and Document Title.
High Chart Accessibility Module	This release, Logi Info introduces new configurations that add accessibility to your charts via the High Charts Accessibility Module. This module enables chart compatibility with assistive technologies. The elements ChartAccessibility, SeriesAccessibility, and AxisAccessibility allow you to customize accessibility within your chart. The ChartAccessibility element includes the following child elements: AnnounceNewData KeyboardNavigation FocusBorder SeriesNavigation ScreenReaderSection Series Description PointValue The SeriesAccessibility element includes the PointValue child element.
Info/SSRM - Couchbase .NET Support	The Data Manager and Web Metadata Builder now support Couchbase as a Data Source Type. The new Connection.Couchbase element enables support for DataLayer.SQL and DataLayer.ActiveSQL in .NET environments.
Info/SSRM - Windows Server 2022	Logi Info and SSRM now support Windows Server 2022.
PostgreSQL Connections	Npgsql.dll was upgraded from version 2.0.4 to 4.0.13. This upgrade includes solutions to LogiStudio, ReportDev, and rdScheduler. Higher versions of Npgsql.dll are not supported by .Net Framework 4.5.2.
Oracle Data Access Driver	Oracle.ManagedDataAccess.dll was upgraded from version 12.1.24160419 to 19.19.0. This upgrade includes solutions to ReportDev. Higher versions of Oracle.ManagedDataAccess are not supported by .Net Framework 4.5.2.

Logi Info v23.3 Resolved Issues

AG - Filter Case Sensitivity	The General element's Filter Case Sensitivity attribute now works in Analysis Grids.
AG - Crosstabs	Both aggregate values are retained when applying an Input Date filter to an Active SQL Datalayer in an Analysis Grid.
AG - Quick Tip	Quick Tip text in Analysis Grid charts now display the correct hover information, as expected.
SSRM - Edit Visualization	Chart Type and configuration changes now render correctly upon selecting Save, as expected.
SSRM - Bar Chart	Negative currency now displays in the appropriate format on a Bar chart's axis.
InputDate	Refreshing the InputDate element no longer reformats the End Date.
Action.Add Bookmark	Chart Zoom now refreshes when an Action.Add Bookmark element is included, as expected.
Dashboards	Both panels now display when a subreport and multiple instances of the same panel are used in a Dashboard tab.
Data Tables	You can now apply filters to a Data Table via Logi Studio Wizard, as expected.
Logi Studio	Potential RCE vulnerabilities related to the Logi Studio parameter "lgxPreview" have been addressed.
