This topic describes feature enhancements, resolved issues, and important information for Logi Info v23.3, released on September 29th, 2023.
You no longer need a new license when upgrading an existing installation of one of our products from one major version to another major version, for example v14 to v23.1. However, if you are upgrading from v12 to v23.1, you will need a v14 license key and file for the new product/application. If you have an active maintenance contract with Logi, we've already created licenses for your license point of contact, which you can find on DevNet by selecting Support > License Manager. Contact Customer Service if you want to upgrade and need a new license.

Fixed error reloading analysis with database fields containing spaces | When a user sets up a new analysis in Logi SSRM using a column with a space and adds a sort, the analysis does not error out upon returning to it after navigating away. |

Scheduler Service | The Settings.lgx file for the LogiXML Scheduler Service now includes a TypeFilterLevel attribute within the WebRequest element. You can set this attribute to Low if needed, the default value is Full. This ensures that only the specified types are allowed for deserialization in the LogiXML Scheduler Service. |
Issue in Label Attribute | Reports with the caption property set, no longer export captions to an Excel file. |
ReportCenter Menu | The bookmark descriptions configured in the ReportCenter menu element now appears correctly within the report. |
CVE vulnerability | The engine no longer processes custom JavaScript added via the URL in applications deployed to Linux servers, similar to those deployed to Windows. |
RCE vulnerability | The engine now limits formula resolution when using the rdCsvFieldDelimiter parameter. |
Issue with token resolution in formulas | You can now manage token resolution inside formulas when they are used as values for session variables and procedures. |
Data loading issue | When a report loads data from other applications and then generates a PDF, the risk of PDF injection and local file inclusion is eliminated. |
Round function issue in PostgreSQL | In PostgreSQL, the round function now works as expected when auto-casting is disabled. |
Issue with grouping by date field | ActiveSQL can now return correct data when grouped by date field with secondary JoinRelationDetails. |
Broken bookmark issue | Grouping works as expected after adding a crosstab with the date column to Analysis Grid. |

Excel Sheet Break | By default, Excel exports that utilize Excel Sheet break include a blank cell A1. To remove the blank cell from the export, set the optional attribute Excel Delete Blank Sheet to "True". |
Data Table Summary Row | This release, the HeaderRow and SummaryRow elements include a new attribute, Hide If Single Data Row. Set this attribute to "True" to hide the summary row when there is only one row in the Data Table. To utilize this feature in your Analysis Grid, set the AnalysisGrid element's attribute Hide Summary Row If Single Data Row to "True". For SSRM, add the attribute HideSummaryRowIfSingleDataRow to the AnalysisGrid element [@ID='ag'] in InfoGo.goAnalysisGrid.lgx . Once an analysis is created, this attribute will take effect in all items such as Visualization, Author Report, and Dashboard that is built according to this analysis. Modifying the attribute HideSummaryRowIfSingleDataRow does not affect existing analysis. |
Undo/Redo Sort |
Logi Info now offers the ability to undo or redo the Sorting action in your dashboards. This enhancement applies to Analysis Grids, Dashboards, and Report Author. To utilize this enhancement, set the new application-level constant |
Pareto Charts | Developers can now leverage out-of-the-box Pareto Chart visuals to improve productivity, minimize customizations, reduce development effort, and import the extensibility and maintainability of custom analytics applications. A Pareto Chart is a chart type based on the Pareto principle, commonly used to maximize business efficiency. The Pareto Chart is used to graphically summarize and display the relative importance of the differences between groups of data. To support this feature, the ChartCanvas element now includes a new chart type, ChartCanvas.ParetoChart. Pareto Charts can be used with standard data layers and support native export types. |
Excel Export Password Support |
You now have the option to encrypt your exported Excel reports to ensure that sensitive information remains secure. This feature enhances the security and privacy of Excel exports and prevents unauthorized access to their data. To enable this feature for Analysis Grid, Dashboard, Report Author, and Scheduling, set the application-level constant Additionally, the element Action.NativeExcel includes two new attributes, EnableInput and ExcelPassword. The available values for EnableInput are True/False, with a default value of "False". If EnableInput is set to "True", users will be asked to input the password before the export, ever time. To enable a static, preset password, that users are not allowed to input or change at runtime, set the ExcelPassword attribute to "true". Unlike EnableInput, ExcelPassword accepts various values, such as tokens, constants, and so on. |

Display Metadata ID or Name |
You now have the option to display metadata IDs or names when using global filters in your Dashboards. Prior to this enhancement, you could apply global filters to metadata, but there wasn't an option to select the metadata in the Dashboard. High Chart Accessibility Module |
This release, Logi Info introduces new configurations that add accessibility to your charts via the High Charts Accessibility Module. This module enables chart compatibility with assistive technologies. The elements ChartAccessibility, SeriesAccessibility, and AxisAccessibility allow you to customize accessibility within your chart. The ChartAccessibility element includes the following child elements:
